Brown Sugar
Brown Sugar is a piece that displays the intense intimacy between two lovers.
The man and woman appear to become one at the centre of the piece, with very little space between them. Both subjects are unclothed and therefore, vulnerable, open and unrestricted with their love, welcoming love in its totality. Hence, this piece is a tasteful exhibit of the beauty to love and be loved.
The original piece was completed using a range of high quality acrylic paints on sized 80x60cm stretched canvas. It has been finished with a thin layer of soluble matt varnish to protect and preserve the piece.
