REVOLUTIONARY

A powerful tonal drawing depicting three of the most influential leaders of the twentieth century: Malcom X, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela.

I created this piece in 2015 using a tonal pencils ranging from 4H to 6B and invested over 12 hours into this artwork. This piece boldly signifies the importance of the work and efforts these men invested into trying to create a more just, unbiased and equal society. Although they shared different philosophies and implemented different methods to achieve their goals, this piece underlines the harmony between their goals and bold ambitions.

As such, this is a timeless piece of artwork with a message that is still very relevant in the present day.
