Ivory Stone

Ivory Stone is a striking new original artwork with deep meaning and purpose.

Contrast is the underlying theme of this piece. The various shades of stone, cream and white acrylic paint that brings light to this piece is matched with the warmer tones of ashy grey in its crevasses. This is complimented by the off-white string that is carefully wrapped around two deep grey pillars in the centre of the piece.

The acceptance of taking the dark with the light, in the same way we have to accept the rough with the smooth in life, is what makes this piece beautiful. This piece illuminates that when this fact of life is accepted, we can truly see the beauty of life in its entirety.
